This will be an exciting coast to coast wildlife tour of Costa RIca. From San Jose to Savegre, to Puerto Viejo to the Tarcoles crocodiles on the west coast this trip has it all! This will be an exploratory trip for Outdoor Photoworkshops and is expected to become an annual Photo Workshop, but for 2011, since it is an exploratory tour, the trip will be a bargain $1995! The price includes all internal travel, meals and accomodations (international airfare not included). March 12 = Arrival. Hotel Corteza Amarilla.
March 13 -= San Jose to Savegre Savegre Lodge.
March 14 = Savegre. savegre Lodge.
Note: Savegre is the best location in Costa Rica to photograph the Resplendant Quetzel!
March 15 = Savegre to La Selva. Sueno Azul.
March 16 = La Selva. Visit bird feeders and Biological Reserve. Sueno Azul
La Selva is located on the east coast of Costa Rica, near Panama
March 17 = La Selva to Carara. Punta Leona.
March 18 = Carara. Tarcoles River Trip and Nationla Park Visit. Punta Leona.
The Tarcoles River contains some of the biggest crocodiles you will ever see! This area is also well- known or scarlet macaws.
March 19 = Carara To San Jose. Bougainvillea.
March 20 = Departure.
