Turkey information and itinerary

On March 30th, 2009, Carolyn and I will be joining Lyman Duggan for a nearly 3 week trip through western Turkey guided by Meli Seval (from Travels in Europe with Rick Steves). We expect to post our journal as well as images and perhaps even videos (as we have Internet access)!

March 31 - April 3: Istanbul (Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Hippodrome, Market, Ottoman Houses, etc.)
April 4 - April 5: Cappadocia (landscapes, hot air balloon, Zelve Cappadocia)
April 6: Guzelyurt (Red River in Avanos, Pottery, Underground City)
April 7: Konya (Grand Mountain, Caravansarai of the 13th Century)
April 8 - April 9: Egirdir (Museum of Rumi, Villages)
April 10: Pamukkale (Historic locations, Natural history, weavers)
April 11 - April 13: Kusadasi (Villages, Natural History, Ephesus, Meli's Farm, Villages)
April 14 - April 15: Istanbul (Tire Market, Saddles, Donkeys)
April 16: Back Home!
