2009 Photo tour in western Canada

Beginning September 10th, 2009, I will be organizing a photo tour to a private lodge located on an island northeast of Vancouver Island in Canada. The group will be limited to 10 photographers and all positions have been booked (as of 5/27/2009). Price is only $1700. This is a prime location for photographing feeding grizzly bears, black bears, orcas, minke whales, humpbacked whales, eagles and lots more! Hi! We were hoping to make this an annual event - but unfortunately, we couldn't work out a decent price with the lodges in Canada, but Jason Hahn found an even better venue! Check with http://www.outdoorphotoworkshops.com - If you are interested in bears, there is an Alaska trip every August that has replaced the Canada trip! This is a private lodge with lots of grizzlys! Check the OPW site for images from the 2010 event!

Wow! I have checked the link that you posted over here. According to me it is such a good trip to make. I am interested to go with it. Canada is such a great place to spend a good time in it and it is a photo tour then i am more excited about it. Keep posting.

Unfortunately we were unable to make any kind of a deal with the lodge owners - but we have a better deal! http://www.outdoorphotoworkshops.com, which I am affiliated with, now has a trip to Alaska in August to photography brown bears and the facilities are fantastic. There are still some openings for this year - so go check it out!

Yes - it was a great trip - but we were unable to work out a deal with the owners of the lodge - so now we are doing the grizzly bear trip to Alaska! Too late to get on the 2011 trip, but we will be going again next August - details at http://www.outdoorphotoworkshops.com .
