Alamy images?

Sales of photos for stock photography or general image sales

Alamy images?

Did anyone else notice that late last week that the number of images available on Alamy suddenly dropped from 17 million to 16.43 million? That's quite a drop. I did a google search and couldn't find any reason given for the decline, it could be an accounting adjustment in numbers or perhaps someone pulled their images from Alamy?

Last week I had my smallest sale ever on Alamy - under their new Novel Use plan - a whopping $1.00!! That's less than the micro sites pay - .50 after the commission! So, this year I had my biggest sale ($4800) and my smallest ($1.00). Interesting year. Also, I've noticed that the activity seems to be picking up a bit as we begin to approach the fall season.

Alamy Images provides hard to find general and royalty-free images traditionally licensed agencies in the world's largest photo and photographers.
