I just discovered this agency through the current Photographer's Market guide - Painet. The are based in North Dakota and have been around since 1978. They have been online since 1996 and also host websites for photographers. However, they are currently in the process of building their collection of images and are seeking new photographers. They pay a comission of 60% - same as Alamy and pay out daily!
The web address is http://www.painetworks.com/helppages/searchtips.htm. You will need to print out the agreement form and email, fax or mail it in to them and begin uploading images via FTP.
They prefer TIF images, but will accept JPG as long as they are no more that 12:1 compressed (a 60 MB uncompressed image must be 6MB or larger compressed!). Also, they DO NOT want you to uprez your images! Yea!!!! Finally someone who makes sense - I never understood why Alamy and some other agencies want an image to be artifically enlarged. I don't understand why any buyer would want to buy one that was. If I were a buyer, I would prefer the native size and if I needed it bigger, then I would enlarge it myself. Anyway, the size requirement is no less than 24Mb uncompressed - which is pretty much any DSLR sold today that is 8 megapixels or larger.
