Day 9 April 8

in Today was another travel day. I have little time to post now, but we met a wonderful Iman who posed for us in his mosque reading the Koran in front of a window light. He was so proud of his mosque and he and Meli have been friends for many years.

I can't describe the beautiful mountain roads we traveled today through tiny villages. Part of this route is the same St. Paul took during one of his treks through this area. We are staying in a hotel next to a beautiful lake.

This image could be anywhere, but is typical of the lovely area we travelled through. Beautiful farm land with cows, sheeps and goat herders. We were above the snowline for awhile and Carolyn and I even stopped for a brief snowball fight!
